Dear Colleagues,
There must be few members that, by now, are not aware this is our 25th anniversary, so this year we want to make our annual conference in October extra special.
As part of our celebrations we want to encourage more members to attend than ever before, so to this end we have revised the two-day costs from the current £250 for both the Monday and the workshops on Tuesday to a special rate of £185 for both days inclusive of lunch.
We have a new venue, the Hilton East Midlands Airport Hotel, just for information it’s not at the airport, and it is a great venue with larger capacity.
The line-up of speakers are first class, some you may not have heard of, but have come highly recommended.
For those that are staying at the hotel and attending the private dinner in the evening, we have a new ‘at table’ magician, who following the retirement of Darren has recommended one of his protégés, together with an old favourite the gaming tables which in the past has kept many a member highly entertained. The music this year is being provided by Robbie Williams (not the real one unfortunately the budget won’t go that far), but he also has a wide repertoire and is very professional and promises to provide plenty of varied songs and music to suit all tastes. There will also be a dance floor for those that have the energy!
Following the last few years issues, we have this year decided to dispense with the comedian.
This year’s Conference promises to be one of the best, and we look forward to welcoming members old and new.
