SWW Statement Regarding Pre-Paid Probate

It has been brought to our attention that the talk of pre-paid probate is once again on the rise, and in recent days has been closely linked with The Society of Will Writers and Estate Planning Practitioners (SWW).

Our stance on pre-paid probate has always been clear, having already issued a statement in 2019 – for more information please see here.

In case it is not, SWW wishes to make it abundantly clear now that we do not offer any pre-paid probate plans or products, nor do we promote or endorse those of any other firm. We are aware such claims have been made, and have dealt with these separately.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and continued support.

I think it is widely accepted that pre-paid probate is the new scandal like many funeral plan companies that are no longer able to operate.
    They cannot be guaranteed.
