From the desk of the DG

For the 6th consecutive year the January and February induction courses, SWWEPP Certificate Courses are oversubscribed, which is a great testament to the quality of members and potential members we are attracting.

This is in addition to the Distance Learning Course we introduced in the early part of last year, which has been an instant success attracting students from all around the world as well as here at home. The course has obviously proved popular with people who, for a variety of reasons, cannot spend 4 days away from home.

On that note, this year we have extended the course from 3 + 1 days to 4 + 1, due to the amount of knowledge we need to impart. Due to the growing complexity of families The Society does not believe that Will Writing and Estate Planning can be taught in courses of one or two-day duration, certainly not one that has any quality education.

The aim of the courses on offer should always be to give the student/practitioner the competence and confidence to get started at the end of the course.

Several new courses have been introduced for 2019, and the first one, Advanced Instruction Taking has had excellent reviews and feedback.

Go to the College website for information on all courses available. www.collegewillwriting.co.uk

Many of the courses are available for groups and companies to be held at their premises and can be tailored to fit your own personal circumstances. The College, with a seminar room for 30 and smaller training rooms are available for hire to Members, together with own on-site parking and catering facilities and the beautiful city of Lincoln, it makes for a great venue.

For information on all the courses and what the Society and the College have to offer contact [email protected] or call in the first instance 01522 687888.
