College of Will Writing Courses receive further recognition.

The Society of Will Writers are proud to announce that our College has received preferred supplier status with the Ministry of Defence Career Transition Partnership to help forces men and women get back into public life when they are due to retire from military life.

The Ministry of Defence awarded status is given to those training providers who can show a consistently high quality of training. The application process has involved a thorough investigation of the Society’s internal and external procedures, both in the training stages and continuing support for members.

Career Transition Partnership (CTP)

Each course supplied by the Society is individually approved and monitored ensuring the very highest standard of service and education.

As part of the process the College has reviewed and developed its commitment to quality and procedures for ensuring that the training and services provided meet your expectations and requirements as members. The key elements of our strategy include: a strong management commitment to quality, recruitment, and retention of high calibre, experienced and well trained staff and tutors and an ethos of continual improvement and challenge.

From the pen of the Director General
The Society of Will Writers and the College of Will Writing has a long pedigree, both formed in 1994 and were designed to be the main independent body representing the needs of the, then newly created, Will Writer in his or her profession and the needs and assurances of the general public. Year on year we have, we believe achieved our goals.

We are rightly and justly proud of this latest accolade to our training and services to our membership. This opportunity to be able to extend our services, knowledge and experience to provide career opportunities not only to ‘civilians’ as we do now and have done so for that past fourteen years or so but to help repatriate men and women who, as part of their daily routine put their lives on the line in the defence of others.

We know that we will, by working closer with HM Armed Forces ensure more families of military personnel will be given better protection and peace of mind by the provision of real and proper estate planning.

We are very soon to launch our new Code of Practice in association with the Office of Fair Trading under their CCAS scheme. The Code has been put together over many months of discussion and in close consultation with many major front-line consumer groups which will ensure that it meets both the needs of the consumer and the Will Writer alike, a document not simply put together from a list of existing clauses and statements but a Code that has been written for our profession, by our profession and will do what it says!

I call upon all existing Will Writers and say, “if you are not part of a recognised trade body then contact me now; it will be by joining together that we can meet the future and YOU can ensure you have a say in how YOUR profession is developed – is the cost of less than 70p per day too much to pay to protect your future and the future of your business and family. Please call me now!”

And to those individuals that are looking for a new career opportunity, a change in direction, looking to get back into work after bringing up a family but with the flexibility of working around the family, have taken early retirement or are looking to support your existing income with a part-time job working in your community, Will Writing could be for you.

Still today in the twenty first century with all its problems and complexities 27,000,000 people do not have a Will or made any form of planning for the future.

Call me now, my mobile number is 07516 70 65 41 for a personal chat and free no obligation pack; or call my office 01522 68 78 88 during normal hours or email Pam at pam@willwriters.com for more information. I look forward to hearing from you.
