Starting out in the Industry – a Job Opportunity

Are you starting out in the industry? Looking for a new career or job opportunity? Perhaps you’re looking to expand your product portfolio? We’ve got the solution with inexpensive training and comprehensive support.

The membership team at the Society of Will Writers (SWW) are seeing more and more applications, and receiving a lot of interest in people wanting to join our profession.

Our aim is to act as a representative trade body providing consumer protection and membership support.

The last few months have been incredibly busy for the SWW.  We’ve seen changes to our Code of Practice, Complaints Procedure, and the introduction of 10 membership principles which provide transparency in how a client can expect to be dealt with.

The overarching principle is that anyone who uses a member of the SWW should be protected because our members are ‘Safe to do business with’.

In addition to the recent changes there are a number of other reasons why the SWW look like an attractive solution to someone wanting to join the profession or add Will Writing to their portfolio.  We are the only organisation of our type to have a dedicated training facility.  The College of Will Writing is based behind the Society of Will Writers office and holds 9 courses written for the Society of Will Writers by expert tutors.

We restrict course sizes to 14 delegates to ensure maximum interaction between the delegates and the tutor.  Having our own dedicated facility also allows us to keep the costs of the courses to a minimum.

For anyone looking to join the profession our introductory/ refresher course is perfectly suited to provide delegates with the necessary confidence and knowledge to take effective instructions from clients and to be able to advise on most client situations.  The course itself is very in depth and tutored in such a way that all questions are answered.  The atmosphere at the College is always welcoming and friendly.

Here is some recent feedback we have had:

“Yes I was very pleased with the Course.  The course tutors were excellent.”  PB – October 2015

“I found the course extremely informative.  Really enjoyed the course. I left school in 1978 and haven’t been in a classroom situation since.  I thought it would be a hard slog but it was actually very enjoyable.” – JA – October 2015

“I felt in safe hands because of the vast experience of someone with many years service. I was very well looked after whilst here and a special thanks for the catering provision which was excellent, also enjoyed Brians delivery of the course.. Many thanks” – GB September 2015

For anyone thinking of joining the Society you are welcome to contact us for an information pack. We’re keen to welcome anyone who has an interest in consumer protection.

Thanks,

The SWW Team
